Cafecito History:Cafecito Business Network began in Oceanside in April 2016 at San Luis Rey Bakery & Restaurant with the first Cafecito Networking event. The event brought together San Diego county-wide Latino leaders from the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce, San Diego County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, San Diego Gas & Electric, Goodwill Industries International, MANA de North County San Diego, NAHREP The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals, and many more.
Thank you to some of the guest presenters Cafecito has had like, San Diego County District Attorney’s Jesse Navarro, State Assemblymember, Rocky Chavez, and then City of Oceanside City Council (now Mayor), Esther Sanchez. Some other guests over the past years have included, San Diego County Assessor, Ernest Dronenburg, San Marcos City Council, Maria Nunez, and Escondido City Council Joe Garcia.
We are continuing the tradition of supporting local businesses, nonprofits, and communities in a casual event with no membership or fees required. All we ask is to support the host restaurants with a purchase and to make a new business relationship.
